Perhaps the only feature that can divert your attention from the stunning view at Jonah’s is the food. The award-winning Restaurant offers excellent Contemporary Australian cuisine.
The kitchen is led by Peter Ridland who joined Jonah’s in 2009. Boasting an impressive resume Peter has cooked alongside Luke Mangan at Bistro Lulu, Marc Philpott at Gunners Barracks and Starwood Hotels. Peter has spent time in Europe which included Stages with Michel Roux Jnr (2* Michelin) at Le Gavroche in London, Jean Luc Rocha (2* Michelin) at Cordeillan Bages in France, Jacques Marcon (3* Michelin) at Restaurant Regis et Jacques Marcon.
Reflecting Jonah’s unique seaside location, the seasonally updated menu will showcase some exceptional Australian and International produce, basing dishes and style on Contemporary Australian cuisine. From a cellar containing over 5,000 bottles of vintage Australian and international wines, the extensive wine list of more than 1,300 wines entices and rewards.
Proudly the team have earned many awards including a ‘Chef’s Hat’ from the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014 as well as a ‘Bent Fork’ from Sydney Eats. Most recently we were awarded “2 Glasses” in the prestigious Wine Spectator Awards. Wine Spectator reaches nearly 2.6 million wine lovers worldwide and this is the first time Jonah’s has won such an award. Our Sommelier Christian Baeppler also won “3 Goblets” for Jonah’s at this years Gourmet Traveller Fine Wine Partner Awards. Our sister property Bonville Golf Resort was awarded one ‘Chefs Hat’ in 2013 and maintained its “1 Glass”.
Guests can sit back and relax on the Terrace Balcony whilst overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Jonah’s Terrace balcony on the cliffs of Whale Beach overlooking the Tasman Sea, was designed by Romaine Alwill, Head of Interior Design at Coco Republic. The balcony offers a more relaxed dining experience, allowing the cool scent of the ocean to breeze past as diners make the most of the unparalleled location. The balcony is also home to a special menu of lighter, mid meal grazing items.

The Restaurant is open seven days;
Breakfast: 7:30am — 9:30am
Lunch: 12 Noon — 2:30pm
Dinner: 6:30pm — 9:15pm

Jonah’s operate a non smoking restaurant and bar. Jonah’s has limited off street parking available, guests must park legally at all times.
