Celebrating in Style
One of Sydney’s iconic venues, Jonah’s at Whale Beach, celebrated Australia Day and its own 86th birthday in true Australian style yesterday.
Having welcomed movie stars, performers, politicians, media proprietors, royalty and sports champions since the 1920’s, it is always wonderful to both introduce and welcome back so many Australian legends – and this year’s celebration was no exception.
Jonah’s was delighted to be able to host guests including the ex-governor Dame Marie Bashir and Sir Nicholas Shehadie, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Bob Hawke & Blanche d’Alpuget, Ky Hurst, Peter Phelps, Jono Coleman, Matt Dunn, Chris & Rose Fydler, John Brown and Phil Waugh.
